The movement in this one is very unreliable and the indices are silver instead of black.
the numbers on the bezel ‘curve’ the wrong way below 9-3 and the gmt hand is the wrong orange.

No good rep of this at the moment unfortunately.

Oh i see. No wonder I cannot find any discussion about this model here. Thank you for your insight! I will stay away from the explorer II.

It's not that bad , I had the V1 with the ICHS movement and with the gen in hand very little difference.

Markers are black as they should be it's the photo there that looks silver

Noob changed the markers to silver to keep the black paint from making the lume gray. These markers are silver.

No, they’re silver. The lume on the indices looked grey on the previous version because it didn’t have white paint under it, so the black paint showed through. Noob didn’t even bother with black paint on this one.

If you get one with black indices, its the older batch, the lume will likely be greyish and wont match the hands.

If you're looking at the explorer II and want CHS, Intime also has it 'on sale' as well. The markers are black, and the lume looks good.

That's an old pic of what Noob used to sell. Those were great watches. I guarantee that isn't what Noob would deliver to Ryan to sell to you. Been there, done that with Ryan twice on other watches. Ended up choosing different watches and re-sending money to make up the difference. Ryan was great about it, but I wasn't shown the watches he pictured.

The last batch with black markers had noticeably unattractive dark lume plots, grey in color. Some samples had worse 6, 9, and 12 lume plots than the round markers. But there hasn't been one from the factory like Ryan's pics for a couple years.

Here's a sample of dark hour marker lume. This sample is not nearly as bad as many others, but compare the hour marker lume color to the hands lume color. They should be identical.

KJ is right. I just looked at the recent QC pics from jtime and it is grey. Not as dark as hour markers. Pretty tempting price though

Ok, that going thru, lets try again. A very interesting thread, especially comments, and those KJ - I remembered that handle and thats how I found this again.

A photo of my - like 4 year old Noob CHS. Black paint on indices. 2x AR crystal, scuffing on the cyclops makes some haziness. What would yous think on lume though? Photo follows
