I'm very satisfied of the finish and global quality, I'm just a bit disappointed by the grey dial, I would prefer a bit darker. Seller is very helpfull, send photos of the watch before to send it and offer good prices. He's not in the trust dealers list but I'm sure he'll be in soon!

Two days and not a single reply to this great pictorial?!?! Come on, RWI!

Thank you very much for writing this up, g6james! I have been eyeing this watch for a long time, but never had the guts to pull the trigger because of its height. How do you like its height?

Also, what about the caseback text, do these watches still come with the "cenifugal" misprint? Not that I care much about this issue, but maybe they have fixed it already.

Hello, thanks for yours comments!
For its height, it's a bit thick but it's just a matter of habit.

For the caseback text, I don't know what's he "cenifugal" misprint?!!

In this picture of yours you can see that the white text on the rim of the rotor reads "cenifugal" when it should read "centrifugal". The chinese forgot a "t" and an "r" between "cen" and "ifugal"!! But again, not a deal breaker IMO.

There are correct replicas out there. I've got what I believe to be a 7750 version, that I bought from forum member Coop. I don't know where he got his from, I keep thinking WatchEden but I'm not certain on that.

No spelling errors, but the "Tag Heuer" text on the front is plain black instead of filled in white.

Only other thing I would say, is be careful with it, as I've managed to scratch the PVD coating somewhat just at the bottom of the crystal. Only slightly, but until I find a paint or something to touch it up it is a niggle to me.

I love this watch, and I hope to buy another... to have one as a daily wear and another for times it will be under more scrutiny.

If any one is interested in one, please PM me and I'll find out which Trusted Dealers it's from and supply pictures of mine for comparison.

EDIT: Oh and no offence intended to the OP, but I must strongly recommend sticking to the trusted dealers here.

Aaah ok, funny!
For the "TAG heuer" in front, it's difficult to say if i's in black or white on the gen.
For example, on presentation pictures of the gen:

tag-heuer-concept-chronographe-monaco-twenty-four.jpg

It seems black, but on simple photos still of the gen of course:

You can see the TAG Heuer is white, perhaps grey...

The official presentation photos are a lot "photoshoped" so nothing better than simply photos from a watch test site!

That's very true, I think I'll leave mine plain black. Though a dark gunmetal grey might look good... to go with the dial... but still, "if it ain't broke" :)

Thanks for sharing that picture, all mine looked more ambiguous

You're welcome, it's a good site to show real pics of watches!
Have you pics of you're Monaco? Is it the same as mine?

Neither black nor white, it's just a light etching, very shallow. It reflects light in a way that sometimes it looks black, other times white or even grey. So no paint is actually used.

It's different actually, yours has bolder text on it, and the correct style white lettering on the back (mine isn't italic). However mine is without spelling errors on the rotor.

Oh, and the whole of your deployment clasp is black, whereas on mine only the push button bit is (the bit you can see whilst it is worn)

For pictures, please see the thread I bought it in.

I keep meaning to take my own photos, but I'm useless with a camera...

Sorry, was typing as you posted this (I know I'm slow, killer headache), but I've facebook messaged Coop to see if he remembers :)

That's a great rep too! Your clasp is not black but seems less cheap as mine!
The wheel date is different too, you have "." between numbers like the gen, not mine!
If you could take photos of the two sides to see the thickness of the case, yours seems less thick, no?

It seems less thick of mine, no? Or the screws of yours are bigger!?

I really think it's an optical illusion created by the flash in yours and the slightly raised angle.

I'll measure it tomorrow evening. Can't until then. Pub day.

It's less blue in real.

I have a small wrist and I was a bit afraid by its thickness ,but on the wrist, it's not shocking.
I see you have Chronofighter, the Monaco is much less chunky.

Yes, I got from WE originally. And the "Tag Heuer" in black is correct, none of the gen concept pics I have seen show that lettering in white. You really have to look out cause there are a few 7750 versions out there. Yes Tim, its a 7750. :)

In the link I've post it's a gen, we can well see that the TAG Heuer is not really black!
I think it's depend of the light, it's a shinny grey.

I've never seen a rep with a black TAG!
