Hi Everyone,

Sorry for such a delay, but a combination of being stupid busy and not getting a single good photo with my just slightly better than compact camera ment this has taken a while.

Would you believe i finally manage to get a couple of in focus shots with the new iPhone 4!!!! Great little camera.

So back on track, the whole process was a dream with Precious Time, Communication was great throughout, i got the watch well packed from inside the UK 13 days after ordering and the watch is stunning.

I did find starting the watch up after not using it hard but PT suggested 10+ manual winds then rotate the weight by shaking the watch lightly.

I have found today though simply putting it on letting it start to move then setting after works better.

One little confession, I actually own the Gen version of this watch, so really am that person who says they have left their real one at home... lol

Im going to take photos of the 2 together but on first inspection the only differences i can tell are the writing on the rotating weight is actually black on the gen and has 2 cut outs either side. And the photo printed numbers on the Tachymetre are a little sharper on the gen.

Seriously though if i knew this would be so accurate i might not have bought the Gen!!!!

Thanks for looking

Paul

GREAT watch... I'm leaning toward making this my first rep- the one I'll wear on a daily basis. I'm looking at getting this one and ordering the rubber strap as an extra.

Regarding the rotor, its interesting to hear that there is a difference. If you look at Tag's website page for this watch the bottom of the page has a video. Toward the middle/end of the video, they do a rotating shot of the watch. When they show the rotor, its looks the same as this reps. ...This makes the picture of your gen's rotor even more interesting.

Can you also comment on the differences in the SS bracelet? How dos the rep compare to the gen?

Thanks for a great review! I look forward to your rep vs gen comparison shots and thoughts!

Nice review :) I'm interested in this watch too, can I ask how much you paid for it?

Hello

I also bought a Carrera but I have problems of "little bubbles" on the crown. You do not have this problem?

Probably you just have to remove the protection plastic still on the outer bezel

Thanks for your answer.

You were right, it was a plastic protection indeed, I removed it yesterday with a little needle.

I was afraid to damage the bezel, I thought it was a sticker.
