Hi,
recently Steve (USDPlating) sputter coated my stock 116600 Noob stock insert.
The picture below shows how it looked before the coating:

As you can see Steve did a very professional job. The plating is very accurate within the numbers no fringes on the edges. Before the plating the numbers where pretty dark especially in low light. Unfortunately I made only one picture before. Now the insert colour is way better.
The turnaround time was very fast, around a week. Steve was also very responsive during the whole process and a nice contact. He even fixed a "loose clasp" issue at no extra cost. I can highly recommend his work.

This is an overdue review. Steve did a great job and I’m really pleased. I’ve tried to capture the peachy look in direct sunlight but my photography skills are limited. Steve even greased the watch seals for me and polished some scratches from the bracelet.

I’ll post a proper review with pics when I receive my watch but I can say that Steve’s service is excellent. His communication is brilliant, always replies to emails and answers any stupid questions you might have (I had lots). He kept me updated with pics of my watch and has even emailed me tonight to say that he has greased all gaskets and polished some scratches out of the bracelet for me. I shall definitely be returning to use Steve’s services again.

Above is my seadweller that Steve did for me. Pics don’t do it justice to be honest. The bezel mod looks really refined and is a huge improvement to stock bezel. I don’t have a gen to compare to so can’t comment on that. Steve has done a great job. He even greased all of the gaskets and polished out a big scratch on my clasp. Customer service second to none. My sub is now en route to Germany too. I’d recommend Steve’s services to anyone.
Got my Hulk done by Steve about three months ago and is looking great up to this day! He even changed my insert for a new one cause mine was pretty badly made. All of this for a fair price. Totally worth it.

Had Steve plate my 116610LN insert. Goes nice and peachy colored in sunlight like the gens do. Excuse the smudges

I love this watch, but almost immediatly I started to realize the insert was so.... fake! (yes it is I know
)
So I started with the molotow paint mod and the sharpie as well. The result was a full colour, probably too grey, but temporary and expecially not uniform.
So I decided to try this usdplating mod.
When I opened the box I though he put an original insert. The difference is so huge!
Amazing job Steve, congrats!
Trust this man, people, very responsive (he replies to your messages in minutes or not more than an hour) and professional (he updates you with no need to receive a message).
Unfortunatly he's not able to hilight the beauty he makes! Steve you just show those picture with the loupe, they don't mean anything, show the whole insert, better if mounted!
I sent him the whole watch, I was afraid to crack the insert.
