I decided to give a non TD a try. I had found this person on Reddit, they work with Flandad who does some plating services. Anyways, that's besides the point as I didn't pay for any servicing or plating from him.
I purchased this Sunday, and received it today 7/18/23. That's 1 single business day to receive this, it appears it got on the first flight out of HK and landed right near me lol!

Since this is a non-TD I'll be extra cautious in verifying what I received.
I can happily say that this appears to be 1) a legitimate VSF, and 2) the V4 version as specified by the seller. Here's how I verified:

Overall, I'm extremely happy with the service. I paid only $470 shipped for this, and it included both the mesh bracelet and nato. This was cheaper than any TD offering ($508-$538 + ~$30 shipping). The shipping is really the fantastic part. These are shipping from HK on express couriers. It only took 1 business day for it to arrive to me. The seller let me know this is a bit unexpected, generally it might take 2-5 days for you to receive it.
The seller I worked with is named Aseem for reference, he's pleasant to work with, and operates in normal US/EU hours. I would say his service is supurb, and I'm happy with the transaction.
Lastly, a wrist shot:
Note on the wrist shot that the crystal (it causes some weird viewing effects due to how it's domed) is making the 12 marker look more unaligned than it is, when in reality it's like 95% aligned, not an issue at all. He gives you the option to RL/GL like the TDs do, I GL this one.
