Returning member, trying to get caught up!

Hi all,

I’ve been a member since 2013 but have mostly been inactive since 2017! Due to some work/life changes over the years I ended up selling all my franken subs and really regret it. I’ve been trying to catch up on what I’ve missed in the world of Rolex reps and it’s overwhelming; from TC going off the radar, to VSF, to recent raids, etc.

I’d like to re-start my collection with a sub 126610 or 124060 that I can turn franken but it seems poor timing due to the best sub manufacturers seemingly going dark (TC, VSF, etc).

That said, would love some advice on the above. Will VSF go the same route as TC did? Are there other manufacturers I should consider? Is my best bet to buy from another member?

You may want to refresh your knowledge of the basic forum rules and pick up some recent info by reading the sticky threads in the new members area, and f necessary.
Re your question I'm not really able to help, I got here after TC disappeared and in the case of vsf I just heard rumors of them laying low because of raids, but to my knowledge nothing really confirmed. To be fair I'm not completely up to speed, the Rolex section may contain extra info. In any case,laying low doesn't mean they're out of business and they may turn up again, happened last year already.
But yes, VSF is still the go-to maker for subs. M2m is the place you want to keep an eye on, they're sold quite often. And if you're lucky, a TC may come up now and again,but then you need to be really fast and lucky, they're still very coveted.

Thank you! I found one in the M2M section yesterday and pulled the trigger. The TC’s were exceptional quality and he often gave you the option to include gen parts which was convenient. Gonna miss those reps.
