Would love some guidance on how to proceed...

I ordered a Breguet Classique Auto 5177 from MKS via ChazingTime. The QC photos show a different variation than the reference photos on the ChazingTime site.

Critically, the back case of the rep identifies the model as 5157.

I raised these concerns with Alice. She said the photos on the website are old. Alice ordered a second watch from the factory. Same issue is present. Which might suggest that the current build of this watch has regressed since the reference photos. Or perhaps something malicious might be going on

Does anyone have experience with something similar? Even better if you happen to know specifically what's going on with the MKS Breguets.

Here's the same watch from another TD. Not sure if it helps but compare the pics ...

Thanks -- indeed, the pics on One appear to be the same model that is on ChazingTime, but alas, not a match of the model that came across in the QC.

This is the first time I've encountered a problem with a TD like this. Do you have any guidance on how to proceed? Once again, I'm not sure whether the model has been updated (and regressed), or whether I'm being sold something that is deliberately old/different.

Just cancel the order if you can't live with tbis flaw. Nothing to think about further.

This model is not that popular. What they gave you in QC is what they got from the factory.

Yes we have seen models change and regress over time. That MKS model is probably half a decade old or more, in rep game half a decade for a niche model is like a century, should just be happy they're still made.

Compare the pics of the watch on the website and the QC pics you've been sent. If you can see a difference in the movement or anything else you don't like the look of, then reject the watch. I rejected a watch years ago because the Factory changed something in the movement (which was visible through the glass back) and I felt I was being offered an "old" watch. The TD was pissed (maybe because I'd caught him out) but he sent me QC pics of the "new" release and I green lighted it.
