So........

i did a trade plus plus cash for this watch found here:

https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/331940-Vintage-Panerai-44mm-Luminor

Heres the issue. I traded a watch that I loved but had an accuracy issue. I don't work on these things as I feel that they are delicate and I don't want to mess anything up.

Some background first. I trusted a. Holder in making some custom watches and while I think the two were amazing, the one took forever and ultimately was not assembled properly and thus the reason it wasn't running smoothly.

Anyways, I traded this "custom" watch for the one listed in the thread. The guy I traded with was awesome. He was seemingly honest and up front. He found out the issue with the watch I traded him and was willing to do the labor and fix it. I felt badly. I offered additional money, etc.

the watch i got above, I never really fell in love with it. Wore it a couple of times and have been looking to trade it out. But, we had a Christmas party for my GF's work and decided to wear it. The watch always seemed to keep great time.

But, I noticed the top hand fell off!!!

So, another builder puts a watch together for someone and I end up with it and it falls apart.

My my question is this. The watch I now have seems to be really cool, but I need it fixed to at minimum trade it. I'd honestly like to sell the watch or if I can trust someone, have them take it, fix it and maybe add some customized things to it to gain my interest in it.

But im sorta jaded on the whole thing. So I am asking for a straight up recommendation as to which builders are capable of doing this and at least fixing it. Once fixed and serviced, unless we customize it, it'll go up for sale. I have too much invested at this point but unless it's fixed, it's useless.

Looking for for positive guidance.

I have had custom pieces, factory direct reps, and even gens loose a hand in certain situations. That just happens unfortunately.

That movement alone should draw serious interest in a trade even if it needs some work. Those swiss manually wound mvmts are not easy to come by anymore.

I understand that things can happen. But I have had several replicas and a few custom builds and this is the first one to lose a hand after wearing it three times. Because of the movement, I wanted someone reputable that most agree would be the best direction to move.
