Hi guys and girls. I noticed alot of the vip dealers here offer asian automatic replica watches. On other sites i've been on, they say swiss made and italian made replicas are the best. I am confused? What do you guys think the best replicas are made: Swiss, Japan, asia or italian made. also, some sites say Grad 1 watches are always swiss made.

P.S. I am looking for a replica Breitling Bently Black face and back leather band.

This site is the best!

nothing is actualy swiss, japan, or italian made. They are almost all made in china. Some parts may be swiss but even that may be limited to the movements. The best you can get will be an ETA swiss movement from one of our trusted dealers. The asians are quited nice also with the improved movements. In the end from our dealers, its all about the movement all the parts are the same in the end... at least that has been my experience.

When I buy my watch-can I take it to a store to get it sized

Have you guys ever taken your replicas to a Jewler to get the band sized? My plan was to say I bought it on ebay--if anyone would wonder, of course I would not go to a store that sells Breitling. I was planning on going to a Kay or Ostermans, Zale.

what do you guys suggest I do? I really don't feel comfortable setting the wrist band myself.

Your typical kay "jeweler" wont even know what a breitling is, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Many jewlers will not size or service a watch or brand they do not carry, especialy a high end brand. There is too much risk on thier part. Imagine you go to one of these guys to size a gen and they slip and scratch the band, how pissed would you be. Size it yourelf I say. The only watch I ever had sized was my gen omega SMP because they use pins that are very hard to remove, plus I purchased it from the AD.

There are no grades, so no 'grade 1' or 'AAA'. The term 'Swiss' means an ETA movement instead of an Asian movement, but even the ETAs are made in China (or Thailand).

No replicas are ever made in Switzerland or anywhere else in Europe and anyone saying otherwise is a liar/scammer trying to make you pay double or triple the value of a watch.

I hope we're helping you see through the smoke-screens put up by sites trying to scam you out of several hundred dollars.

Grade 1, AAA, were terms to identify the quality of reps and was more a selling ploy by many dealers, even some of our own several years ago. We tried to develope a grading system 4 or 5 years ago to identify the different rep flaws. Cyclops, date font, movement, and serial numbers. At the end of the day there are no reps that are perfect. If you go into it expecting perfection you will get highly disapointed. These are very nice reps and great quality but still carry a range of flaws. Learn to live with that and you will enjoy the watches, let if get to you and you will always be worried about someone noticing it.

what??????!!!!!!! all of my stuff was supposed to be grade 1plusSSSSSSSSSS++++++++++AAAAAAAAAAAASWISSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!. CRAP now what am i going to do?

don't worry man, just relax and look around and studie about this hobby as a whole and you will slowly become unprogrammed from the things you read on replica center or whatever they call it now. most all of us came to these sites thinking the same way. really i've got to hand it to them, i don't remember the last time i saw a marketing campain that was that effective.

kick back and relax and grab your favorite vice (tobacco, alcolhol, women or whatever) and enjoy yourself. you will see the light and then you will spend all of your money on this stuff! after all i only want one more watch and then i'm finnished. right?

hi my name is marc and i am a repaholic, oh! wait a minute, wrong forum! i'm sorry!

welcome and enjoy!!!

what is the life span of a replica watch?

thanks guys for all your help! I have another question for you. What is the life span of a replica watch--if taking proper care of it? On a side note, How close are the replicas Breitling to the real deal? I am just curious, I own an org Omega and I couldn't tell the differance it someone held up a replica, I guess I have never really paid attention. Do you guys think the average jewelry store sales rep would be able to tell a replica vs. org if held side by side. Just curious?

Thanks,

still looking for a Breitling Bently black band and black dial

I recall 2 seperate threads about "wearing a rep in to an AD ( Authorized Dealer). Type that into the search.

You will be amused by some of the responses.

Welcome to the board!! Make sure you check out some of the reviews of the reps out there. By-tors are great reviews and very nice pictures. The photo GURU is pug, ahh... Pugwash. Great tutorials on taking pictures of your watches.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, the reason I remain on this board and not on the others is you won't get the standard "you stupid noob" response, but honest attempts to answer your questions or at the very least a link to the answer to your question.

As far as advice, STAY AWAY FROM PAM'S, it is a VERY expensive virus to catch, and the cure is to purchase EVERY pam rep out there!!

Welcome to the sickness!!!!
