Hello,

the logo on my AP Offshore carbon diver fell so I ordered a new one. Thing is I don't really know how to replace it, I have looked at guides but none of them show this specific movement. I have included pictures and would be very glad if someone more experienced than me could help me out. Thank you

I don't really understand the question, logos etc, but as you have a spare crown next to a watch with a crown I assume you want to change crowns.

Pull the crown out to the time set position, give the crown a 1/8 turn, doesn't matter which direction. Then with a small screwdriver blade press very gently on the button circled in red - the stem release button, whilst at the same time pulling gently on the crown. Press the button gently, whilst pulling gently on the crown, if the crown isn't coming out, press the button a little more.

Once the stem is out, hold the threaded part of the stem with a small set of pliers and unscrew the crown, replace with the new. Adding a drop of mild glue to the tip of the threaded part of the stem, where the crown sits, will help to prevent the crown from unscrewing from the thread.

Reinsert the stem into the movement, once you feel a little resistance turn the crown a little in one direction then the other, apply a little more pressure to push it into the movement. If it doesn't go in, remove and start again - don't try to force it in brutally - turn a little in both directions, press gently, wiggle etc.

Ok so I got the stem out and the watch started running again, I put on the new crown and now when I put it back in and twist slightly (without pushing the button again) it slides into position but I can't wind the watch or screw it in all the way. Any ideas?

Thank you

Ok it's in now and I can wind it, the watch is running, but I think I can pull the stem out without pushing the button, should I try to screw it in completely?

Ok I got it! I tried again loads of times and then it just clicked into place and it's good now. Thank you!

One more question, the rotor rattles a lot, I have tried tightening the screw but it still makes a rattling sound. Any ideas on what to do next?

If all you can do is wind it and the stem comes out when you pull it out further that means you pressed the stem release button too hard and the keyless works will need to be reset.
