Replacing a "stickered" bridge...possible?

I recently picked up a 111h from Trevor, which I really do like. The watch looks great. I didn't realize from his pictures, though, that the bridge of the movement would have an "OFFICINE PANERAI" sticker instead of the engraving. Is it possible to source a new bridge from somewhere and swap it out? If not, would you suggest just going in and pulling off the sticker?

I was gonna have the cannon pinion fixed and a lume job done, but now I'm not sure with the bridge the way it is...

Thanks

I dont think you can replace that without replacing the movement. Plus it seems like it would be an expensive mod not to mention tedious. First you would have to source one and if it wasnt a dead movement you scrapped it from I am sure you will be charge a nice price for it. Then you will have to replace it and everything.

IS the movement Swiss or Asian?

It's asian, COLDI, that's why I'm not sure I wanna drop any more dough into this watch. It's definitely entry level, but it's a looker as is.

Ok, that was an unusually bad sticker. Take it off and get a new one from Francisco instead.

I agree with Fakey, best to get a Swiss movement engraved and go from there. Bc if you dont you will eventually more than likely...thats 100 bucks right there, 150 or more for lume and CP fix for 50 (guessing) plus all the time waiting ect. That alone is 300...Sale your watch and spend that 300 it would take to make your entry level watch really nice and just get a DSN, plus you will probably get a better cg and crown than whats on your watch now.

Simple:
Take off the sticker and get a metal engraving kit. Then go for it!!!

Enjoy the watch for what it is. Plus - I'd like to point out that no one will see this flaw if you leave it on your wrist.

As you can probably see from the photo, it is peeling on the far left, towards the center bridge jewel. I think you're right, this one is especially bad. The watch has to go back to Trevor for replacement, as this one has a couple of movement issues, but I am preparing myself for when a new watch comes back (he said he'd replace instead of repair...).

So Francisco has stickers? I'll have to check that out. I've yet to talk to the guy... :?

I'm just going to throw this out there as an idea...

If you're going to send it back and then turn around and sell it why not just sell it now? Get a sticker from Fransico, put it on...Bc what you're going to spend in the end shipping it back is around the cut you can take off the price you will get for the watch. Then you wont have to worry about it getting seized by China customs and you wont have to wait a few weeks or more...Just an idea...

Maybe 'cause he has no wish to lumber a fellow forum member with a watch with and I quote, "movement issues"?

LOL...thanks for all the help and suggestions. eBay it is, then!! OK, kidding. I'll get my new 111 from Trevor, and go from there. Maybe I'll just hang on to it and eventually splurge on another DSN. I have my 089 coming now and I have a feeling that that watch will get a majority of my wrist time.

I will post some pics of the new sticker in about 3 weeks...
