Let me preface this by saying that I'm a newbie, and I've tried without success to find the answer to my question by reviewing posts under various topics, so if I'm missing something obvious, my apologies in advance.
I really want to purchase a Breitling CHRONOMAT B01 V2, but it comes with the following movement:
"Asian 7750 25J Auto Chronograph at 21604vph".
I am assuming that this is the a7750 movement that so many posts refer to as being "time bomb." The seconds subdial on this model is located at the 6 position. My question is this: If/when the movement fails, is there a reliable but affordable (under $50 or so) replacement movement available that I could have my local watch shop swap out for me? I appreciate any input my fellow members could provide on this.
