Hello

I'm looking for a movement to replace the a7750 in one of my reps. To be exact I have a Pam 301k(same thing as Pam 164 pretty much)and want to put a dependable Swiss movement inside. Any input would be appreciated, thanks

No reason why not. The rep minutes, hour and subdial seconds hand and date wheel should transfer over. The chronograph pinions will need to be removed. Where are you located? Not all watchsmiths will work on the 7750.

I'm in the US. I asked strodda so waiting to see what his reply will be. I'm sure it'll be reasonably expensive but I'm willing to pay the money

Figure estimated costs, $450 for the movement from Otto Frei plus watchsmith costs. IMHO if you like the watch worth the expense.

Which would be better swapping a swiss or just regularly servicing the a7750...? Is the swiss 7750 the only swiss optiin?

Yes, the Swiss A7750 is the only Swiss option. If the TD offers you a Swiss A7750, it might be a reconditioned Swiss A7750 or a Swinese (Swiss and Chinese parts combined) A7750.

great is that the A7750 or the ETA 7750 (chronograph) movement?

I am wondering if the sellita sw500 can be a direct replacement for the A7750 movement?

Yes, the sw500 is a drop in Swiss clone of the ETA 7750. Not sure on reliability vs ETA. Personally, unless the price difference was significant, I'd stick with the ETA as it's proven.
