amazing how many obvious fake their are on eBay...makes you wonder how many aren't noticeable? scary.

i think for people who aren't into reps, its extremely hard to tell the difference. we spend a good deal of our time here picking at flaws in reps so when we look at ebay pics, we try to pick out these flaws. a non informed consumer wouldn't know where to start!

usually with ebay, first thing i'll look for is a picture of the warranty card. whether its stamped and dated is important IMO as we all know where to get blank warranty cards from

There's a new aquaracer out? which dealers sell it? I have always just seen the ones with the incorrect (or is it an old model?) chrono dial. it doesn't exactly scream out fake to me since there's so many different variants of gen tags out there, but it sure looks ugly compared to the gen I see at the AD. 3 chronos on the side just never was my thing.

oh I think I found it, didn't notice that one slip by me when I was searching for aquaracers on this forum a couple days ago. I'm guessing you're talking about the new 500M model. looks pretty decent.
