Rep PAM351 with gen p.9000?

Hey all,

I'm searching ebay for a decent PAM watchbox on the bay, and came across this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panerai-Cal-P-9000-/290846758211?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item43b7d15543

a gen p.9000! (current bid is $540...) Which got me thinking: Would this fit inside a rep PAM351?

So, if I were to buy a rep PAM351, say this one:

Would I create a unique super-rep? How frikkin amazing would that be!? My questions to anyone with watchmaking/repair expertise - 1. WOULD IT WORK? 2. This movement sounds dodgy - the ebay seller wrote "needs service", "look at pictures and ask questions. No returns." Perhaps its broken?? If anyone out there knows anything about the p.9000 and can shed light on whether this sale is a working or broken movement, please shine a light.

(PS - if someone else steals my idea and buys this, no hard feelings. But post pics!!! The p.9000 is gen movement inside the following: PAM505, PAM389, PAM388, PAM392, PAM393, PAM312, PAM328, PAM359, PAM360, PAM351, PAM352, PAM305, PAM382.)

I believe they are currently working on the p9000. But in time, we shall see.

i actually just saw the same posting yesterday! but it sais it needs to be services so i am not sure how good the condition of the movement is.

In any case could be a great project!!

Leaving aside the condition of he movement I thnk you will have problems in:
- Stem position
- Second @ 9 axle position
- Datewheel position
- Hands fixation
- And maybe other fitting issues

Anyway i'm not an expert on these matters we will wait for the opinion of goin, marlin Wiz...
