Looking at picking this up, I've not seen to many Cs so I'm not sure if it's a rep or not.

Could I get some help from the pros?

It has IWW DLC

I don't know where you've been , but black and brown have been fine to mix for quite some time now.

Who decides when is it good to start mixing brown and black? Dolce and Gabanna? LOL

Looks like a gen to me. If not, I'll take a dozen of those dials and casebacks!

I like the brown strap with the PVD. What color would you guys have it be?

 It's not some high end fashion thing. It's been non taboo for quite a while now. It just has to be done right.

If you don't think you can pull it off... Well then you prob can't .

My dog wants to know WTF is wrong with black and brown.

Hell I love mixing black dials and brown straps. It really makes a watch pop.

You can have a dog in your dorm room?

What school did you go to? Last time I checked they did not get full size SS appliances. I live in a loft downtown. It was built in the 20s and converted 5 years ago into condos. It's 950sqft. I'm sure you can get a 3brm house in the burbs, but the burbs would bore me and I'd prob stick a gun in my mouth.

Stop teasing us, will you? :anopsis:

Besides, the other pics in the thread aren't yours, so why should the doggie one be?

How is that?

Those are %100 my pics, and are watches I own or have owned. they are from my Flickr page and taken with my D90 my friends D70 the pic of my dog was taken with my E500.

I wish I could say that the garage full of bad ass cars are mine, but they belong to a friend.

Then why does the arm in the last of the three photos above have blond hair instead of the dark hair of the second, and now this, photo?

You want to convince me, take and post a pic RIGHT NOW (since that's what you said you did) of you wearing your "other" gens.

Actual proof such as a timestamp (since you're obviously familiar with 4chan parlance) would go a long way.

Simply meeting my request will be sufficient. Any further evasion or attitude and I'm out. It's been fun but it's not gonna get ugly.

EDIT:

Touche'.

That helped sell the point. The only question left then is, why would someone who owns these gens feel such a fervent need to impresses with his "gen-ness"?

Wow, OP needs to relax a bit. First watches, then wedding rings, what's next? The lengths of... ? :)

You got this all wrong. Funny part in your post was "not taboo for quite some time now". That sounded exactly like fashion statement from one of those self-proclaimed style gurus :)

As far as I'm concerned black (and brown for that matter) goes and mixes to pretty much with everything. Looks like Panerai thinks likewise. It always have been and it always will. Not just for "quite sometime".

And BTW, I don't consider D&G hi-end fashion. Far from it.

I don't know what color hair you have, but I have dark blonde hair. So during the summer my hair will be much lighter than in the winter.

I'm not some fashion guru at all. I mainly wear Polo shirts, nice jeans and a good pair of slip on shoes. My wedding ring is just a point of reference. I can clean up nice for dinner, but I'm pretty simple in term of clothes, Although I do have to have the right fit.
