REP GF Avenger Bandit (E13383) vs. GEN Avenger Skyland (A13380) & AR coating Inquiry

I have just purchased a GF Breitling avenger Bandit from Lee and the watch is excellent quality, it came with two straps and everything is as expected except for the sapphire glass. The AR coating quality is very poor when compared with my gen Avenger and it reflects a lot of the light and background on the crystal, so I was wondering if someone knows a good source to swap the crystal for a better quality one?

Here some pictures comparing both watches crystals:

Also some other pictures of the watches from different angles and side by side, the reflection is very noticeable to me:
Finally and as a little bonus I am uploading some pictures of the GF bandit on direct light where the crystal is not noticeable. Here the watch looks really pops out to me.

Yes, this the one flaw with this watch *. And in my opinion there's only one solution... Send the crystal to rnrprof.
He can make your crystal disappear.:thumbsup:

* The pearl is also flawed, but decently fixable. I think you have the updated version already.

Thank you very much for your wisdom! I will definitely contact him. Do you know if he use blue AR coating as per gen or he will basically remove the AR coating from the watch?

My GF gmt avenger has good AR. I saw someone on RWI post within the last few months that he had his Breitling crystal worked on and his pics looked great. Maybe thatwatchguy? Not sure. My watch is below.

Yes your's definitely has an spot on AR coating. That's what I am looking for. I've done some research and found a site (SeikoMods) that sells AR coated crystals. I measured mine and is about 32mm maybe I can source one from them and try to swap it?

AR can be hit or miss on GF...some have been on pair with my gen SOHII and others meh

I am definitely happy. Feel lucky looking at some pics of other watches. I have an ARF seadweller incoming and hoping the AR is close to my breit. But I’m not holding my breath.

This thread reminded me about sending my Avenger GMT to prof for a xtal swap. My GMT has the blue AR but also has the yellowish hue. Can only see it in direct sunlight, kinda bothers me so I’ll have to send it.

It’s the Avenger II GMT, it’s on the NWBIG list for good reason..so very close to gen
