I received a tip and I just dropped by my local watch smith today, on a Sunday morning, and found out the owner is REP friendly. He had 23 years experience repairing watches; he was very friendly and we had a pleasant conversation regarding watches in general.
He stated that he had worked on REPs in the past with no problems and he stated that he repaired and/or serviced low beat, high beat and even Asian 7750 movements with success.
His price was reasonable too!
Mine was an easy fix, so he repaired mines while I waited a Sub high beat and a B&R low beat (replaced crystal, repaired keyless and stem problem). He also indicated that he had a work bench with the "whole nine yards" for more complex repairs and regulations.
His building is located in Taylor, Michigan. He stated that he would be happy to help, so feel free to PM me if you need more specific information.
Today was a good day for my REPS and I hope this information will help someone else who is shopping for local REP support.
