Rep Breitling electronic warranty card?

I'm considering a gen Navitimer from a private seller. It comes complete with the box and papers. Everything looks ok, but I was wondering if there have ever been reps of the electronic warranty card? The serial numbers match on the card and the watch itself, so i just wanted to make sure that someone just cant reprogram an electronic warranty card to match the serial numbers of a ZF rep or something.
