I asked about the reversed marker - got this response

"Dear xxx,

You are correct, the marker should be inverted.
the watch was polished and
assembled incorrectly.
nothing to worry, before shipping we will rectify.
Thanks,

-elementintime"

I disagree but maybe i am wrong. I believe it is gen.

I also believe it's gen as everything else looks spot on but this 30 confused me. However his reply above might explain it.

How about that! If it is a Gen....

The QC picture of that watch would be rejected in a hot minute from the tough Rep crowd! lol

It's gen.

"T" dial rare.

J series not commonly repped that I'm aware of.

Tritium aging tells part of the story, check out the color of dial/pip/hands.

In addition look at the seller.

"Buy the seller not the watch"...

Any knowledgeable buyer would see these things and be put at ease by their presence.

"Buy the seller not the watch"...

.

Not saying it's not a Gen, but come on...
The seller located in NY that does not have papers and took apart the watch and assembled it incorrectly and who's only guarantee of authenticity is the one HE provides. That's the seller I am supposed to trust? Hahahahaha

Any knowledgeable buyer would run from this guy....

ESPECIALLY when there are plenty of Gens out there that come with papers and who's sellers have no problem letting a third party authenticate the watch or will provide you the serial number to check with the manufacturer.

I think it is also worth noting that all the reasons you gave to support that it is a Gen were about the watch. None of them had anything to do with the seller.

The only time "Buy the seller not the watch" applies is when you have personal knowledge of the seller or they have a long and thorough established reputation.

Bottom line - It starts and ends with the watch...

A better motto is 'Trust no one"

Bezel is gen
Pearl has the correct shape for T Dial version, the rep has different shape.
Crystal cyclops doesn't have distortion like the rep.
CG is correct, lever also has the correct shape.
There's no T dial rep I know off
Case shape, lug cuts and taper are also gen

I agree with smokiedabong
Bezel wider polished edge is gen and pearl too. Case set seems gen too
There is no reps J-series of quality and there is no T dial rep
It seems a gen with a wrong repairing, placing 30 incorrectly

Plus I bet there are some collectors that would really like the T dial for their collection. I don't see these come up at all really.

Absolutely gen and this is a very reputable dealer. They have been around for a while and sell very high end pre-owned watches to a very discerning crowd over at many of the gen forums.
