Removing SFSO links?

Has anyone removed the links, i unscrewed one to fine this tiny screw. am i suppose to push in and they pop out the other side?

you have to remove 2 screws (pair) in order to remove a link.

after unscrewing BOTH the screws, the link should come out. you shouldn't have to push/pull anything...
see that they are properly screwed out.
