removing scatches on ss bezel

Is it possible to remove scratches from the ss bezel on a pam ?
This is on a 164n h factory.

Is there a way to avoid f'ing up the brushed steel finish on some of the case sets where the bezel is ss (e.g., as is the case with a PAM 127)?

Should the crystal be removed to more efficiently cape cod the bezel?

First time I'm hearing about this cloth, is there any special care i need to take on the brushed body and crystal when using it on the polished ss bezel ?

You must not touch brushed surfaces
The better is removing the bezel

tape it off with painters tape...
