Hi guys, my ZF had the dreaded dial twist.
How do I remove the move man once I have the stem out?

Do I need to unscrew these little tabs?

Unscrew the two taps and you can remove the movement from the case.

The difficult part is done. If You just want to turn the movement a bit just loosen, don´t unscrew. You just unscrew those 2 tabs and the movement is free. You could use cardboard at the back or Your movement holder or take it out holding the rotor with some tweezers. Take a look at the exact positioning of the tabs and how they are placed before removing.
Good luck

As a ZF owner, can you share what we should be careful to avoid breaking?

ive had a few of these and I have one now awaiting my crystal for it but I don't know what the "dial twist" refers to. Can someone tell me what that is?

I will try. I am a real hacker and I am afraid I am going to scratch the dial or ruin the second hand. If I give it a go I will take some photos

There's no need to remove hands or dial, guys.

After removing crown,
unscrew & take out these two tabs to take the movement out.

Once the movement is out, you'll see that the dial has 2 layers. Inner layer is fixed to the movement
Outer layer is supposed to be locked in place with the inner layer by 2 tiny feet fitting in 2 holes.
Shown here in below picture is the back of the dial (bronze), you can see said holes on top and bottom.

So all you have to do is
1. rotate the outer dial until it fits
2. apply a tiny drop of Loctite (using a needle) onto these holes
