I have a few particles of dust under the crystal of my Navitimer world that I would like to remove.

I know that I've seen a great tutorial on how to dismantle and reassemble a Navitimer world but I can't find it.

Does any of you where to find it?

All the best

I'm not sure what you mean, but that is what the tutorial says.

I think, he means that there might be some more dust particles inside the movement which could longterm appear on the dial.

You have a point. I could send it for a service but the but the movement is running like a champ, loosing only a few seconds a day. And I would like to learn more about my watches by taking them apart.

I totally understand your point. I would do the same I think.

Katarsis hey mate. I too followed that tutorial to clean the crystal. It was easy but somewhere along the way I forgot to keep an eye out for the chrono pushers and “lost it” in the movement. I had a heart attack trying to find it in the carpet/table but then I noticed it kinda riiiggt next to the balance wheel, threatening to get sucked into the vortex. I got it out. It should have been a good sign that I’m not cut out for watch repair but I kept on going and had a few more boo boos before giving up on the loop.

if you have any thought on getting the ar work done, I’d highly recommend doing that instead.
