I saw an actual, genuine, automatic tourbillon watch at Costco this week (our rather small, in the middle of nowhere Costco). Floored. I believe it was less than $260. It was a Bulova. Not impressive, I know. But, it was an honest to goodness tourbillon, with a warranty, and I imagine it could be resold at or near the purchase price at any time. If your interest is solely in having a tourbillon watch... well, there you go. If your interest is in having a replica of a tourbillon watch that if genuine costs more than a Benz? Good luck with that. I am so tempted to grab that Bulova, honestly. Automatic, looks perfectly acceptable, absolutely genuine, and mesmerizing to stare at. For that price one can't even purchase a cheesy tourby from a company that doesn't employ people in your own community. And if you did, I'd wager it doesn't last two years. Something to consider.
