Reccomendations for a first automatic movement

I've been reading a lot about a few different automatic movements and saw a lot of people have issues with the a7750. A lot of the watches I like have them and I am kind of intimidated by what I've read as it'll be my first automatic and I don't know much about watches. Are there any movements someone with more expertise than me could recommend to me as a beginner?

Thanks in advance

Miyota movements are pretty foolproof IMO as well as most Seagull movements. Again, just my opinion.

get a 28xx swiss or clone.. pretty much bomb proof.

Any 28xx clone, the 6497 (handwind as in Panerai) or if you want a chrono the Sea-Gull ST-19 is bomb proof.

Second hand @6 or @12 that makes the a7750 more prone to get busted compare to the one that have the second hand @9 (basic design of 7750).

As stated above, seagull, miyota, a6497, and 28xx is foolproof.

I will share my experience. It may be anecdotal but it is all I have. I have had little issues with most of the A2824 or A2836 movements that I have owned. I think I have had to send the majority out to a modder to get keyless work done, massive timing issues resolved, etc.

If you can live with a stuttery second hand, I would highly suggest a Miyota movement. I might get flamed for this but that is my go to movement now. I have also had perfect luck with 21j movements and A7750s.
