Yep, supply and demand combined with Panerai madness at its very best (worst?).

There is no WAY I would ever dream of paying that much for a stinking strap. Probably because if I were lucky enough to have a Pre-V watch, I'd never even consider selling it, so I wouldn't care if the package was "complete" or not.
