real sapphire crystal for Pam 212 on the Bay

Wonder if this can replace the Mineral crystal on the PAM212I Flyback Ultimate Edition? It is suppose to be 100% interchangeble with gen parts. Has anyone done this?

Do not own this watch anymore, but I had FineDD change my crystal for the one you pointed out on ebay ...
Wasn't a straight forward job, the crystal is different ( height ) so you would have to modify the crystal gasket and glue it in.

My advice, especially if you own the latest ultimate 212, don't do it, keep it the way it is

is the mineral strong enough.? i've been holding out on it cux of xploding issues..

Haven't seen or heard too many problems with the new ultimate, other then that, honestly don't know ....
My 212 was the "old" ultimate version, and I didn't like the crystal because of its distortion & purple hue, that's why I had mine changed to the sapphire one

I wonder if that would fit my Pam270 I would really like to get a gen like crystal as I think the rep dome crystals really suck!! Mambo was it too hard to fit the new crystal?
