Real Clean, or Fake Clean?

I purchased this watch, and I have a feeling its not a real Clean Factory GMT because the rehault is misaligned, and the bezel twisting is very muted and doesn't snap like others I've had.

Anyone can shed some light on if this is a real clean, or a fake clean? And reasons why, so I can go back to the person I bought it from and file a dispute.

Looks like you have a Clean Factory GMT with an older version VR3186 decorated as a 3285.


This is what a Clean Factory DD3285 movement looks like.


Obviously you didn't get this watch from a TD here because they wouldn't scam you.

The rehaut alignment on gen Rolex watches are not perfect, there is no click on a GMT bezel like you get on a Submariner and I hope you didn't overpay for the watch.

The bezel is not meant to click in the same way as, for example a SUB, if that's what you mean. It should be more muted. And Clean is also known for using a ton of grease, so nothing unusual there.

The rehaut is a gamble on replicas, and it's not uncommon for it to be slightly misaligned. It's not a good indication that it's a fake Clean.

I'll leave it to the experts to comment on the movement!

Yes you received a Clean GMT but not with the DD3285 movement as they showed you in the QC pic but you didn't overpay for a Clean GMT with the 3186 movement. So that is a good thing, enjoy and wear it in good health.

I said it before. It's the influx of people saving money by going through a non TD, but then get that service/peace of mind by utilizing RWI as their personal verification service.
