Hi
I'm an Omega man but now fancy getting myself a Pam.
Went to a dealer today and tried on a lovely Gen Pam 104 and now really want a Rep one.
I have read the guide by ALE which is brillant but have got a question about the 7750 movement.
I would really like an automatic but I am a little concerned about the 7750 movements reliability.
Is this something I should be worried about as I have never had a watch with this movement before or should I go down the manual wind route like the Pam 111?

Thanks

Welcome to the PAM world! 7750 is good as long as you're sticking with usual rules that goes with them. Chrono watches will have problems easier but with watches like 104, 243 and similar (that have only small seconds @9) you should be fine. ;)
However I always prefer 6497 as they are bulletproof and would always pick 111 instead of any PAM auto's.

If you get a close back model you can also go for a seagull mov. They were laughed at few years ago but now people see their reliability (and cost around 50$ per piece)
