Have a look at this ..copied from the 'other side' ...for my fellow mates overhere ...I hope davidsen will do it one for us....so its not going to be 10 or 5..its going to be ...35 or 40 pieces ..LOL
>> Got a mail from Mista Wong from Hong Kong aka Hammer, asking me if I could hook up with an antique dealer here in Copenhagen. Hammer claimed this guy had bought a rare Panerai.
And...indeed he had! Have a look at what must be one of THE rarest Panerais ever made by Vendome/Richemont. And...the watch has been authenticated by Bonati himself, claiming that it was meant to be produced in 10 pieces. However, only five made production – but never sold in public – and three are currently owned by Richemont top, including Bonati himself. And now the fourth has a "Danish" owner (he´s´actually from the UK, but lives in Copenhagen).
The watch was bought from the original owner in Italy.
I was pretty amazed to see the watch as it has domed crystal like a 127, however in plexi. Also, the caseback says "BRONZE TITANIUM" and clearly the lever and crown are ti, but the bronze shows under the worn off PVD coating on the back of the shoulders. Indeed an odd critter and even named "SLOB". The owner does not know what SLOB means, but the "B" must be something to do with "bronze".
Anyway, have a look. Sorry about the watermarks, but some people like to steal my pictures and articles and I am merely trying to prevent this.
COOL or not ??
