Saw this up on ebay:

It's a women's watch made by Seiko, and the display is made with E Ink, and set in crystal wrist bracelet / jewelry. Verrry unique, isn't it? Seller claims total made to be 1000 units.

Your thoughts? I think more use of E ink in modern watches as well as electronics would be pretty cool.

It's cool but come on, £3000 for that? I'd rather buy my lady a nice Chanel J12 or a decent PAM

Yikes is right on the price: Approximately US $4,865.65

I am surprised that there isn't more use of E ink.

Some interesting uses...

There is something about the form of this watch that will keep you smitten far longer than necessary. The Phosphor E Ink Watch is a novelty especially if you’re not even familiar with electronic ink, much more a watch that makes use of this material.

The Phosphor E Ink Watch is powered by the E Ink technology, the same technology which powers the Amazon Kindle, a gadget that allows you to read your news and books digitally. It is actually a low-power display technology, which makes use of microcapsules charged with electric fields that is responsible for producing a monochrome display viewable in any lighting conditions.

This technology is commonly used in eBooks but then again, it might just become a revolution among watches. With this technology in your watch, you can easily change the look of your timepiece, choosing between a black on white or a white on black mode. You can also choose three different date and time modes, as well as different hour index configurations.

The Phosphor E Ink Watch comes in a stainless steel case with an option for a polyurethane or leather strap. It has a dual zone support and is water resistant by up to 50 meters, just right for taking the watch with you even when it’s raining.

Great find. E-ink will have some good uses. I have a few Motorola mobile phones that use this e-ink and it gives you x-hundred hours of standby with active display.
