I walked past this section at Harrods last week... they have some ridiculous prices.
And to think that for SOME that's not so much money...

Walk through Harrods and you'll see some pretty amazing stuff, in terms of price tag!

C'mon, let's be real, it's a goddamn bottle of distilled alcohol. I mean somebody harvested some malt from a field and made whisky out of it. Not much to it, you're not paying for the quality of the drink, just buying into the brand.

At least that watch takes months or years to make and a great deal of work goes into it. That bottle was distilled in a few hours and the rest of the whiskey in that batch was selling for less than a $100 at the time, a lot more went into making the box for this collection.

This gear, and I shit you not, is in a goverment, bonded facility, 8 miles from my house as the crow flys. Middle of the countryside, bonded warehouse, holds all the "Top" brands. Got called to, what we thought was a standard RTA about a year ago, truck had hit a verge and tipped and shed its load. When we (roads dpt) got there, it was like something from Men in Black, and the driver was crying "dont sack me" to his bosses, 1 of whom I swear was in a dressing gown. Hahaha
Never actually found out what was lost that night, but sm sure they claimed at least X10 to the insurers.
I like a whisky, like the next Jock, but by god, it stank that night lol
