Enzo I think your right and I think you are getting that close! :D

The guy has been a member of Ebay for over 2 years with the same handle and does live in Italy and sell to a lot of Happy Italian customers, mostly motorbike stuff, 0 negative feedback, hey maybe he found it in his Grandfathers dresser drawer :p

interesting over on RWG they are crediting this watch to one of mine? The images are of a GEN ... as to whether the guy actually has the watch to sell would be another matter .. they look like poached archival images at best.

I find it amusing to have a actual GEN credited to my work. I must be getting close ...

This confirm that most of the aby auctions are fakes. I would never spend a lot of money (if I had!) buying from someone that cannot give genuine warranty on what he is selling.

just out of curiosity. does anyone know how much these watches were valued at when made in the 40's ? since they were made for the military i'm guessing around $500-$1000 bucks, er..or the equiv. in lira.
enzo?? what did the italian navy pay for theese babies new ?

@Enzo

are you sure it is genuine? Looks genuine to me, too. But a display caseback on a vintage model?

i have never saw a vintage watch with display caseback? Maybe he has rebuild this caseback later... but where is the genuine caseback?

nice pics Enzo

i don´t know that panerai has used angelus with cotes de geneve... nice to know, because my movements has also CDG.

how much none-alarm angelus240 are in your collection? I don´t know any other collector like you, which has none-alarm angelus240. Seems very rare. Angelus with alarm are available in old clocks, but none-alarm are very rare.

Hi Enzo

i collect this angelus movements with a friend and we have now 2 none alarm and 7 alarm angelus240 and a lot of key winder (2 key winder also without alarm)

i have noticed all this different styles. I have saw 5 different cote de geneve style, different gears different winding screws etc. .. one of the newer movement has a shock resistant balance?

but never saw a movement like in PAM 203 without CDG.

also was wondering why angelus never build a pocketwatch? Or they exist?

Hi Enzo

thank you

i know this alarm pocket watches. Movement looks nice but isn´t 240 caliber.

wondering if don´t exist pocketwatches with 240 caliber? I have never saw one.

Enzo, do you know where i can find a small second hand with longer pin? Or do you think a Unitas hand will fit? I will build a project watch with small second hand. I have noticed that all movements has the 4.th gear for second hand but the pin is to short... so i need a second hand with longer pin.

i have rivers movement... and his extra gear. But i have 10movements and need 10 gears with longer pin. So i am looking for a alternative, because this 4th gear with longer pin is no more available.

Come on why the heck do you need 10 movements? Sounds to me like someone is going into buisness.

where is the problem guys?

some people has 10 genuine watches. And we have 10 angelus movements?

we have pay much money for this movements... not for free!!!!

Enzo has 4 nice movements, before i have one. But i was never jealous or ask him: why you has so much movements and i have none.

I have purchased my first angelus (key winder) from Enzo + a rebuild kit. Enzo, was our deal a fair deal? I gave good money for your item?

yes?

You has also a lot of vintage movements. I am pleased, that you has so nice movements. I am pleased that cucumber has so nice angelus project watch. Congratulate guys...

but why this bad comment guys?
