I can’t believe I’m doing this, but the time has come to sell my vintage 14790 with its genuine MK1 dial. I spent months trying to track a BP 14790 down and was finally able to snag one, closing out the crazy journey of hunting for THE rarest rep and dial combo I can think of for a grail like this. However, I’ve got my eyes sent on a 15202 superfranken so it’s time to raise funds.
After receiving the watch, I sent it to @majwilliams0308 to install the dial, a better date disk, to match the hands’ lume to the dial, and a new A2824 movement.
The watch runs great, comes with the original black rep dial, and includes two links. However, the screw connecting the two extra links is stuck. The bracelet will comfortably fit a 7” wrist and I can work with the buyer on a solution for additional extra links if necessary.
Asking $4,500 for this rare gem given the genuine dial and the work completed. Will consider offers.
