Concept by me... execution by Pratt with awesome Ross dials. One watch for each founding member of the Ramones. Here, the '74 strap is significant because the Ramones formed in 1974.
This was a tough job for Pratt... I wanted the watches to be uniform with individual personality, much like the Ramones. I love the punky look of the Dee Dee watch. The dial 1-2-3-4 indices because that's what DeeDee shouted between songs. It was often the only break between blistering 4-chord anthems. The Ramones were a very special part of my life - when I transitioned from listening to metal as a teen to punk and later indie rock stuff. One of my first concerts was a Ramones show in Buffalo at the age of 17. It was the loudest show I've ever been too... they were like a buzz saw ripping through the crowd. Changed my life. Feel free to share your own Ramones story...
