This is the sweetest watch minus the band..

I'd buy if it wasn't 70. Mostly because I am afraid of it not working. Dont feel like going thru the hassle.

No worries. The old Russian movements are very reliable. I have purchased several with no problems at all. Plus, these are usually cheap.
The worst part is that they are made for either 16mm or 18mm straps, which look like thin girl-straps on the wrist.
But if you like it - go for it!

18inch straps are absolutely fine and suit Russian/Soviet watches perfectly. It wasn't until around 2000 that watches began to take on massive dimensions. I used to quite like the these big watches, but now I tend to think that anything over 40mm in diameter just looks ridiculous.
