Looking for the old style railmaster 2824-2 39mm with 'narrow' numbers and nickel plated rotor rather than gold color. These are not easy to find atm...anybody tell me where they got theirs.

So far I've come accross these:

Prices range from 200 dollars to 300 dollars. Although not sure if silix 200 dollar version is the same as the others but it certainly looks as if it is.

Basically it has to be this one:

Anybody bought any railmasters recently and have anything to say about the quality or any other input.

Cheers!

Bumping this as I'm also interested to hear from anyone who has recently picked up a Railmaster.

Hi Robbo, there was a thread on repgeek recently with more info:

I think the general consensus is that the old ones with the nickle rotor are impossible to find, but the same thing with the gold coloured 2824 are pretty common, although may have to be ordered with some dealers if not held in stock.

They are really nice replicas and pretty close to gen!
