Here's a noob question: you can change straps on Radiomirs right? Since I've never seen one up close, how do you change it? It looks like the strap is wrapped around a steel loop bar. Does the bar end towards the strap and hide an actual spring bar or something?

:?

I'm about to plug for a 183G or H. Opinions on 183? Who's got a good one, with/without mods.

The bars are "U" shaped and are held in with two screws from the back of the watch. Remove the bar, thread the bar through the strap loop, then reinstall the bar. :)

(Thanks!)

P.S. Any suggestions on 183 choices? I'm thinking Swiss but I hear good things about the CN nowadays.

Be careful ot the "Swiss" movement. There are a lot of questions concerning that movement right now.

The lug wires are actually L-shaped, and made of 2 pieces, which insert from each side of the strap. Both pieces are secured to the lugs by lug screws, underneath.

cheers,
