Hello,

Anyone have any insight on the pam 292 j pig ceramic one from noob. i am interested in one but have concerns.

i recently got a pam 183 o series h-fac and the lug screws are absolute crap! i changed the strap ONCE, and one of the screws wouldnt screw back in,
almost like it lost all its threads. another screw would screw in and stay there, but it wouldnt stop turning to a point where it was tight and give resistance.
the other 2 screws seem ok. my fix for this was i purchased new screws from panatime, and replaced the 2 that were crap,.they are actually a tiny bit bigger screw than the hfac and almost created its own new hole and grip. i have left the other original 2. seems ok as of right now, however i will not be changing straps ever again. infuture i supposed i will use loctite to permanently seal it up if needed.

also i will mention, even as it is right now. the lugs do have a tiny bit of play in them.. not a whole lot it doesnt feel like they are coming out. but they are not tight. i mean its not enough play to bug me.

SO, on to my question. has anyone had experience with the 292, j pig as it is a ceramic case, and also made by a different factory. are the screws very similar, is this a standard radiomir problem? have people had successful strap changes on their 292 ? lug play ? etc.

thanks,

had two 292's... from Noob and no problem with lugs or screws (I ordered extra set of screws to be sure). Changed strap once without problem :) just be careful and there's nothing to worry about. Case is real ceramic and true superrep. One of the best PAMs out there imo and very understated model. It's a true beauty but I sold them because I get bored pretty fast lol and prefer the 47mm or Luminors more...

Noobs pams are known to have better lugs but I guess it's all about how you handle the watch when changing straps. Do it carefully and there will be no problem. Oh and btw if I'd buy another Radiomir it would be the 292J from Noob again :)

Regards ;)
