Hi all!

Just wondering if this is a gen or rep? the guy is asking for about $4200. From my noob eyes, everything seems to be right compared to gen, am I missing anything?

1) The price: He is asking $200 too much for the market right now. $3800 to $4000 is the going market price for like new condition. 2) Authenticity: Get pictures of the outer box labels, card and watch serial - make sure all 3 match. The pictures you have currently aren't enough 3) References: Get multiple references from different sources (i.e. forums, eBAye, etc. etc. 4) Best Grade Rep vs. Gen: I own both and the Gen is only worth it if you're planning to hand it down to your kid (my two cents).

thank you for the reply. I thought this would easily go over $4500. Plus I thought this would have a good resale value. What is the best panerai for both aesthetic and resale value in your opinion? Thank you!

+1 to that! A JLC in-house movement, or PP, sure that you could pass on to your progeny, but Pam? Pam is about the case & dial & cachet. Get the rep, f**k the gens, and use the cash you saved to pass on a few Apple stocks or this weeks's FB IPO shares

Probably one of the best economic advise ever! I heard people say that a gen PAM doesn't cost much to make, but they rise up the selling price. Am I right?
