First a wee bit of background:
My very first Pam was a Radiomir 183 from Angus. I paid for the upgrades, super lume, CP polish and better crystal.
When it arrived I was very disappointed. Lume upgrade was very poor, 3 of the 4 lug screws were frozen solid and the caseback was locked tight.
After much trying to fix the caseback and lug screws I sold her.
However, I have always loved the simple yet elegant shape and style of the 183.
Scanning Toro's sight I noticed the new 183 O and bought one, here is my mini review and Photos.
Radiomir 183 O from Torobravo
$269.00
The overall finish and quality of the watch, engravings, movement and strap are very, very good.
Nice sharp edges as per gen, the crown has a tight fit to the case and the movement is very gen looking.
The lug screws are of a much better quality, nice and easy to unscrew. Much better than my 505 and 388(I might have gotten lucky though)
As mentioned in ALE's great guide, the dial text IS a little greenish in colour. This is not super apparent when the watch is on your wrist, but it is, I think, the only major flaw of this fine watch.
In some lights you do not notice this and it can actually look like the correct creamy colour
The lume is good, very strong as you would expect. It is not too greenish at all as some have suggested.
The movement appears very gen like to me.
The strap and buckle are pretty good for a rep set up. The strap colour is almost a perfect match for the rep.
Overall I am very pleased with my Rad 183 O and would rate this a "very good rep". The only real issue is the greenish dial text.
Happy to have it in my collection.
