First a wee bit of background:

My very first Pam was a Radiomir 183 from Angus. I paid for the upgrades, super lume, CP polish and better crystal.
When it arrived I was very disappointed. Lume upgrade was very poor, 3 of the 4 lug screws were frozen solid and the caseback was locked tight.

After much trying to fix the caseback and lug screws I sold her.

However, I have always loved the simple yet elegant shape and style of the 183.

Scanning Toro's sight I noticed the new 183 O and bought one, here is my mini review and Photos.

Radiomir 183 O from Torobravo
$269.00

The overall finish and quality of the watch, engravings, movement and strap are very, very good.
Nice sharp edges as per gen, the crown has a tight fit to the case and the movement is very gen looking.
The lug screws are of a much better quality, nice and easy to unscrew. Much better than my 505 and 388(I might have gotten lucky though)

As mentioned in ALE's great guide, the dial text IS a little greenish in colour. This is not super apparent when the watch is on your wrist, but it is, I think, the only major flaw of this fine watch.
In some lights you do not notice this and it can actually look like the correct creamy colour
The lume is good, very strong as you would expect. It is not too greenish at all as some have suggested.

The movement appears very gen like to me.

The strap and buckle are pretty good for a rep set up. The strap colour is almost a perfect match for the rep.

Overall I am very pleased with my Rad 183 O and would rate this a "very good rep". The only real issue is the greenish dial text.

Happy to have it in my collection.

Hi Chris

Great and interesting Review to be included in PAM GUIDE

The issues of your old Puretime PAM 183 were already included in Sept 2012 when you informed to me by PM about them

It is curious that last watches from H maker come with the same movement of Noob watches. It is easy the identification from Swan Nech spring shape and support and the horrible short screw. I would like to confirm if OFFICINE PANERAI engraving is actually engraved instead of painted like "old" H maker watches were. Please Chris try your best to confirm this point.

Lume colour under light seems with correct greenish colour but as you have confirmed the inscriptions on dial are no creamy like gen. As you well said thsi is the main flaw of this dial.
These differences greenish-creamy new fashion of PANERAI is very well showed in PAM 388 from Kuvarsit, really nice
Nice to know the lug screws are working fine because this is a nightmare in many Radiomirs (above mentioned KW PAM 388 included)

We had pending final evaluation waiting for a confirmation of dial inscriptions colour. Since it is white or greenish instead of slightly creamy. I think we can give a final evaluation of FIRST CLASS REP medium level.

Many thanks for your kind cooperation and I am going to include this review and conclusions in PAM GUIDE

Very nice Radiomirs my friend, that's a beautiful collection you have there!

However, while being very genlike, you need to source and change those replica sraps ASAP. Those do not match these nice watches at all, especially the one you have on your 288k, which is a POS:(

Take a look, our custom strapmakers can do miracles for Rads, believe me!

Thanks for all the comments.

I hear you about the straps.
The 505 Asso is fine, the 183 is good enough, need OEM for the 288K and have lug problems with the 388 so not tempted to change it ATM.

Whats the issue with the 388? If its the screw itself, Panatime.com has replacement ones that would fit nice and will not bend/broke/damage.

I do have an affection for Rads as well (232, 288, 388) and I wear my 288 on a rep asso and considering getting the genuine one. Killer combo as well!

Have read about your Davidsen 232, thinking about one as my next purchase :) hoping a factory will make a good 346 or 338. A Ti Rad would be great!

I would love to see both of them, especially the smaller 42mm radimoir cases to get into production. But getting something similar and working for the p999 movements? Not really possible nowadays... They will produce better selling, mainstream pieces. Sad...

Get the DSN 232, it is really a great watch, believe me! And the price is great too!
