Dadvisen has: Radoimir panerai and blackseal at the bottom...

The gen pic is the older model; Pannies flipped the order of the markings around H series. The G and above have the gen pic sequence and H and post have the DSN pic sequence.

I would go with either one as DSN dials are famous for gen texture and we all know of his mastery work. TWP gives me more of a sense of security as he is US based. The dial font colors are off on any 183 reps but not too bad IMO... it never stopped me from purchase anyhow.

I'm not probably helping with your original question :p

I don't know if there is a difference in quality so on that subject i can't answer your question.
Personally i like the TWP because of the crown .If i'm not mistaken the crown on the davidsen is from a vintage 47mm model

DSN uses the latest E-series Swiss ETA 6497 mov't in his 183G, also the A/R coated sapphire he uses is simply unmatched in Rad reps. His 183G comes with standard rep Rad 183 dial now, no issues with dial txt etc.

Standard, non-DSN rep Radiomir sapphire xtal comes with no A/R, so one extra thing to consider... 8)

cheers,

Dial or movement details etc are not what has kept me from purchasing one of these. It is the poor crowns on the more affordable Asian ones. They strip out REAL easy. Davidson has a different crown that seems to work out fine. I am just not paying $400 for one. All things are not equal for reliability so if price is no issue go Davidson all the way.

I believe TWP uses the standard Asian crown. Some people get a decent Asian one and baby it. In general there are lots of problems. Check around the forum searches. Here is one of many threads.

DSN has won me over time and time again. I have reported earlier of a screw loose in my 111. I sent it back to DSN, and not only did he fix this, but he installed the newest 111 dial (which he had sent me earlier, but never got to change), AND he gave me a new case because of the crown guard had stripped the crown. I pretty much got a new watch back, he also gave me a nice thick leather strap and a keychain.
This is just great service. If I buy any PAM I would always check with DSN first.
