Quick Question PAM 111 vs 1312 Size

Hi, just had a quick question.

Looking to buy my first Panerai. Was at first hugely turned off by its size, but I've grown a curiosity for it.
I have a 6.5in (16.7cm) wrist size. I wear 40mm subs usually, and I can see that I have 2-3mm of extra space on either side of the lugs, so I want to experiment with a PAM.

I was at first looking at 42mm VSF PAM's, but saw that they are basically just as thick as 44mm models, which others have said caused it to feel top-heavy/unbalanced.
Plus, everyone seems to just say go for the 44mm rather than 42mm.

I'm trying to settle between a PAM111 or a PAM1312.
I saw that the 312 with its 1950 case fits different than the 111 (312 is bigger?).

Does anyone know if the 111 and 1312 have a different case shape/size (lug to lug)?

Which would "feel smaller" on the wrist?
thanks

I have a larger wrist but to me the 44mm Bettarini case 'feels' a little smaller than the 44mm 1950 case. The flatter / thinner caseback allows the Betti case sit more snugly as opposed to the convex caseback of the mini fiddy.

Thank you for your input! It seems like that's what most people have been saying too about the 1950 case.

Which one did you end up buying?

I'm thinking the 1312 VSF seems closer to gen (and thus, a better rep) while the 111 XF may look just a tad bit smaller.

I bought a Noob V12 PAM111 from Puretime.
It was cheap enough to dabble first, and if i end up really liking the 111 fit, maybe ill consider other PAM models.
The 1312 Vsf was $150 more expensive than the Noob 111.

Just got the QC pictures.
I heard Noob is gone, but their parts are around, so a different factory is assembling them and selling as "Noob" (?)
Yes, it's a bit shady that PT are selling these as 'Noob V12'.

I won't comment on QC - it's a $250 rep....
