Quick question on chrono of H Fact

Guys quick question. For the PAM 308 regatta from H Factory, which supposedly has a 7750 movement, is the minute subdial decorative or does the minute subdial supposed to work as well when the chrono is used?

I have the pam 308. The second hand (big blue hand in center for seconds) work. But the minute hand in the subdial just stays there. Is that normal??

I'm merely asking to clarify this.

I ll answer u , all chrono subdials have to work , in fact the regatta have a big hand chrono , 3pm sundial it's a partial 5min chrono , off course if u have a original 308 its ok to play with it if u have a REP 308 ( your case bcs u have my watch ) it's a smart not play with it or soon or later u ll kill it , big hand advance and reset perfectly and was tested in that way I never played with chronos enough time to see the advance in the other subdials , for 99% of us chronos are merely decoratives , if u want or need play with chronos u need a quartz watch or an original Swiss 7750 never an Asian

Lol it's not about me wanting to play with itm i have muktiple watches all chrono with 7750 they all work. But i don't use them. You are correct they are more decorative. But of course i'd want it functional if it is suppised to be functional. Hence the clarification

I feel a chrono is not decorative but a functional thing I enjoy using. If you don't use them constantly or harshly all of my A7750/7753 have never had a single issue. I know others have and fixing a chrono 7750 can be fairly easy for any smith and cheaper than most other things in the movement. Anything that is strictly decorative I consider a detraction from the watch itself and it's value to me. Why I wouldn't buy fake chronos or fake PR.

I would agree Chinese movements are less sturdy than eta for sure in most cases and quartz Ii wouldn't wear.

Chronos should work. It's basically a stainless steel version of the PAM332, without the fake rattrapante button.

Chinese movements aren't like gen but they aren't total trash that it's common for the chrono to break inexplicably.

And if it's supposed to be functional I would understand that you should not play with it being it is asian 7750 amd not swiss. But then i got the watch with a non working minute chrono. So if you tell me that I should not even try to use it is a bit crazy. It's like telling someone that the chrono works but you cannot use it as it will break.

If it is something that gets abused and breaks then that is acceptable. But if you claim a fully working chrono in the ad, then I get a partially working chrono, and then you blame the watch saying it's just for decoration, then what should I think?

As I said earlier on PM I merely want clarification. But then you go defensive off the bat and start blaming the watch being an asian 7750 and for deco only. You say it's fully working then you tell me you never tested it except for the second hand. Then that is not fully working.

Again, I'm not picking a fight or trying to air my grievances. If you notice i did not even mention you or any names. i was merely wanting some clarification if all h fact pam 308s are the same. The watch is nice and I got a good deal... actually a great deal. But you being too defensive is starting to sour everything. I told you I'm easy, and I appreciate the deal. Just needed to clarify.

It's not about money either. I burn through more than the amount just on my long island ice teas... If you think I'm trying to stiff you then you're mistaken. Since the short time I've joined I've purchased watches here left and right. So no, i'm not trying to be an ass. It's about principle when i am told i get this but i don't, that is all.

Sounds like we need to hug it out I would say either return it or if you want to keep it I think it's a fairly easy fix. Sounds like maybe just an acknowledgement is what you actually want @bangsters and then this can be put to rest without escalation?

Exactly @JackJ1980. It's not about money. i also checked feedback on seller and he seems pretty reputable. I just wanted clarification then I can put it to rest.

So again my clarification is: are all or most pam 308s from h fact have a faulty chrono or one that breaks after a use....or does it work both seconds and minute subdial? that is all...

And as I said, you're a reputable seller and the watch is a very nice watch. I just wanted to clarify the chrono that is all buddy. But hey i still love it and i will figure out the chrono.

i think I get where bangsters is coming from. I understand you don't care about chrono but he does. I think saying it's broken would go along way. You've saying it's ok Asian chronos are bad but never it's broke, my bad, or stupid usps at the least. I'm glad it's to rest just my opinion and I can see where this escalated. I'm glad it has descalated and happy both of you have what you wanted. Bangsters hit me up if you want help with the chrono.

Will do. Other than minute chrono, which really not a big concern except when someone admores it and wants to see movement then that becomes an issue lol.... Yea will hit you up on getting it fixed.

Chrono fixed woot. I opened the caseback. Looke like the subdial just got stuck. Nudged it a bit while crown was pulled. Then tried chronobagain and works now.

Pic below shows its still running after 12 mins. Woot woot. Sorry for crappy pic it's a bit dark and i'm tired from working all day lol.
