Just got this 510 from Sora yesterday. It's the new KW V2 version with the 8 Days movement. Watch arrived safe and sound with the upgraded croc strap that was included with my order. Watch also comes on a distressed calf strap which was included in my order, although I haven't mounted it - the strap smells very chemically, regardless it doesn't matter I have a gen Panerai black calf on order.
Watch is beautiful. Polished throughout, 8 days movement looks really nice, winds smoothly and keeps great time. I half wound it yesterday when I got it at about 3PM and it was still dead on this morning when I put it back on. Lume is great too, I quickly went outside in the evening to have a beer in my backyard and I could see it softly glowing in the dusk light.
Crystal AR is incredible, and very gen-like. If you hold the watch at the correct angle, you get this really cool halo-like effect coming off the crystal. My only issue with me, and this has been bothering me is that there's a smudge on the inside top right of the crystal (near the 2 o'clock marker). I thought it was on the outside of the crystal, but nope it's on the inside. I'm not sure if I have the skills to take apart the movement and wipe the crystal or send it to a modder to clean.
The upgraded croc strap is actually pretty nice. I'm going to keep it on this until I get my gen black calf. I also got a gen gold croc in the mail yesterday from Paneristi and the texture feels dead on. This would be a great strap to actually KEEP your watch on if you don't have tons of straps like myself, and unlike the traditional rep straps for Panerai, it doesn't suck!
