Question on obtaining gen crystal, dials

Hi everyone. I'm new. I've been reading and posting. And now I have a basic question.

I've seen people talk about getting a gen crystal and dial for their reps. What I want to know is:

- Where do you even get a gen crystal and dial?
- What should one expect (ballpark) to pay for a crystal? For a dial?
- Does getting a gen dial impact the date on a DateJust?

I'm looking at the 41mm blue DJ with the "pattern" on the dial (I forget what this pattern is officially called). If there's a post already with this information, please share! Thank you.

Crystals are often sold here i the M2M section. They range from 350 to 450 Euro.
Dials are sold in M2M too sometimes, but I'm not shure about price. The rep dial should have the gen date position, so it should fit.

Only if the movement you have is not a gen-spec clone. (3135/3235)

If it's an ETA version / older rep then the date in 50% of cases does not sit in a gen position.
