hi all,

I always hesitate for my next project and chrismas present, between Pam 1950 and MILITARE
but i see the Militare existe in 44mm, is it an existant model?
are the best quality rep in 47?
somebody have one picture betwenn Militare 44 and 47?
i think this one can be a good choice, she s maybe more easy to wear, but i m afraid to loose the spirit of this military watch.
if someone own this type of model i waiting your opinion
thanks

I'm pretty sure the 44mm miltare version you are talking about is fantasy. Do you have some photos?

I always wanted to 2 hands Militare PAM and started exploring both 44mm and 47mm version. Of course the 44mm version is a fantasy watch.

Taking my 6.5' wrist size into consideration, I settle for a 44mm Militare from TrustyTime and changed some parts.

One of my favourite weekend watch, and it gets lots of wrist time......

hi
thanks to you answers, your watch is so nice. i like vintage strap on Militare. I ask me know the same questions as you before...44 or 47, 44 is more easy to wear ,but you say me it s a fantasy size... it s make me a little bit problem.
but wathever this model( militare) is really amazing, and when you wear it, you know you wear something really original

i looking a site ' la cote des montres' on the net, and i find it
the panerai Militare in 44 size have really exist, is not a fantasy watch...
in 1998 (PAM00036) only 200 piece and in 2000 (PAM00082)only 300 piece.

Sure, those exist but those are a different design then the 127 and 217 versions. The 036 is available from Perfect Clones and Davidsen, the 082 is only available from Davidsen. The 036 and 082 are really nice watches and a good size. I have both.

Trevor was offering the 036, too, the last time I checked. So, MEYER, are you simply looking for any model that has "Marina Militare" written on the dial? As was pointed out earlier, the 036 and 082 are 44mm watches, the 217 is 47mm. What exactly is it that you're looking for?

@togokm -- Where did you manage to find an blank case back for that case? I looked and looked when I had my mini-Fiddy and couldn't find one....

i looking to make a vintage pam, i like 2 models 1950 and militare; but the 1950( with panerai marking make me trouble, i thing they not look so accurate as gen)and i like the mouvement of the militare completely smooth. but if the front of the PAM are generaly very good, the nice mouvement are not so easy to find.
after for the size i m little square of the 47mm, the 44 mm of TOGOKM is really not bad.
very hard choice, usually , i don t have so many difficulty to find my choice

hi guys,

I got my strap from Official Time on Ebay. It's originally smooth brown buffalo leather, but I sand down the surface to get the vintage look. Same for the caseback. It came with all the Panerai branding and serial number which i buff them away to get this blank caseback.

Regards,
togokm

Oh, here we go again. 45 more "nice watch" and "good pics" posts before we see something posted in the FS section?

Why not try being an active member of the forum? Who knows, you just might like it.....
