Guys,

I find myself mysteriously drawn to the California dial 47mm Radiomir case Vintage RWC. I'm absolutely confused over which model to get. RWC site shows the gen being black dial and black hands. But most vendors are selling black dial blue hands, or brown dial and blue hands.

So which is which?

Help please.

Thanks!

BUMPZ....anyone?

Update: I've pulled the trigger for a 47mm Radiomir case, plexi glass, black dial black hands Cali dial with saph glass case back & H movement swan neck. I hope it turns out to be what I envisioned it to be

Dude...love the plexi!
I'm in the process of getting a 6152 built with a plexi & cannot wait to get it soon I hope!
The Cali dial & Radiomir case is an awesome combination.
Probably be my next purchase depending on how the 6152 looks.
Congratulations! Post some pics when you get it.....
Personally I like the Black dial with the Blued-Steel hands & H-movement...
DSN has this one that I like...although it looks like a tabacco dial

That is definitely a black dial. In fact, it does look good in the angle with the blue hands. I just hate the shiny blue finish on the hands which make it look a bit tacky, hence very rep-pish. Am I even making sense here?

Ok, will try to post pix once I get the Cali.

The RWC 1938a rep, at least the one I have from DSN, is a 45mm case, black dial and black hands. Here's mine:

I beleive the RWC 1938 is made just like Savage's. 45mm case, black dial and black hands. Panerai's 249 is a 47 mm Radiomir case with black dial and blue steel hands. I think Davidsen can put it together anyway you like! Either way its a beutiful watch with a fun dial. My next purchase will probably be the 47mm with blue hands. Then Savage can make me a black strap with blue stitching 8) Now that would be sweet!

Yep, the RWC is a 45mm watch. It does indeed have a black dial and black, segmented hands. Here's a pic of my gen 1938a:

Ok now. So is the gen RWC a 45mm or 47mm? I'm confused?

DSN will be building me a 47mm Radiomir case with Black dial and Black hands Cali, Plexi Glass and Saph glass case back. So something must be wrong here if the case is of the wrong size. Where did I get the impression that the gen is a 47mm? Hmmm.....am I screwed...again?

The RWC is 45mm. The PAM249 (black dial/blue hands) is 47mm, as is the platinum cased PAM262 (brown dial/blue hands).

So 47mm isn't wrong, per se, but it is wrong if you're trying to make an RWC rep. No one knows RWC as a brand, regardless, so don't worry.

DANG! That means I need to get a 45mm to complete my collection then? A true rep of the RWC? Alvin, c'mon, slap me again!
