Hi, All,
I was told by a TD that the following information pertains to the model 5712 V3 which I have on order from him. I know there have been lots of questions and claims about what the various versions of the PPF 5712 might have. If I am reading this correctly it appears that there have been other changes for movement and dial in addition to the obvious change for the improved clasp on the bracelet.

For you seasoned veterans, are there other real upgrades in V3? (There were pictures and a short video included with the info which I can post upon request.)
Thanks,
Steve

PPF Factory Patek Philippe Nautilus PP5712GR “King of Steel” V3 Upgrade – A Milestone in Watchmaking!

PPF Factory proudly presents the newly upgraded V3 version of the Patek Philippe Nautilus PP5712GR, the true “King of Steel.” This release marks a significant milestone with the introduction of the groundbreaking Cal.240 PS IRM C LU integrated movement.

  • Movement: The movement consists of 265 parts, featuring a flat hairspring and a Gyromax balance wheel with regulating weights, oscillating at 21,600 vibrations per hour. This setup ensures unparalleled stability and accuracy, distinguishing it from the fake movement covers and faux pearl rotors found in other replicas on the market.
  • Bracelet: The stainless steel bracelet has been meticulously re-engineered, with hinge parts developed through the disassembly of an authentic Patek Philippe Nautilus bracelet. The result is a flawless fit and feel identical to the genuine article, surpassing all other replicas in the market. The hinge opening angle and the locking sound match the original perfectly.
  • Dial: PPF Factory’s exclusive “Blue Charm” dial is crafted to be as close to the original as possible, setting a new standard in the industry.
This upgraded V3 version not only replicates the iconic design and performance of the Patek Philippe Nautilus but also delivers an unparalleled level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, making it a standout choice for discerning watch enthusiasts.

Don't know much about the model but the V3 is the same as V2 except the clasp is the newer version.

So are you saying that the V2 had the movement described as the following: “groundbreaking Cal.240 PS IRM C LU integrated movement.”

Ok, I’ve had confirmation from my TD that the V3 movement is the same as V2. Sigh, I hadn’t seen that movement description before so I was hoping it was indeed new.

I’m not really understanding your query but there’s a thread on the 5712. I’m wanting to buy one but with the mods it’s a bit expensive, I’ll tell you what I have read:

The 240 is a clone movement I’m unsure of reliability but people are recommending they’re serviced. The version produced by ZF/PPF has a few flaws:

1. Moon disk is not black but instead a dark blue.
2. Hands aren’t perfect
3. Dial colour on the steel version isn’t a perfect colour match.

The moon disk mod on its own is like $170 which I think is really steep so I’m waiting on a v4 or I’m going to buy the 15407 when qc pics come out.
